Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trustworthy suppliers and maintain an extensive supplier database.

  • Place orders for electrical supplies and equipment, ensuring timely delivery in accordance with project schedules.
  • Oversee inventory levels and manage stock to prevent shortages or overstock situations.

  • Demonstrated experience as a Purchaser or in a comparable procurement role within the electrical contracting sector.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical supplies, materials, and equipment commonly utilized in the industry.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Experience with automated ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational capabilities and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
