Position Overview

The Harry & Rose Samson Family JCC is seeking dedicated and compassionate educators from diverse backgrounds to become part of our team as a part-time Preschool Educator at our Early Childhood Education campus. This role involves working with children across various age groups, from infants to PreK.

Work Schedule

This position is scheduled for Monday through Friday, from 2 PM to 6 PM.

Role Responsibilities

As a vital member of our educational team, you will be tasked with fostering a positive, nurturing, and individualized atmosphere for children that promotes exploration and critical thinking. Our educators are committed to treating each child with respect, dignity, and kindness. You will also play a key role in advancing the JCC's mission through program development, adherence to licensing requirements, and the effective implementation of our educational philosophy.

Essential Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for working with children and their families
  • A flexible approach and a willingness to engage in a collaborative learning environment
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certifications (training provided at no cost for hired staff)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in an Early Childhood Education setting or related experience such as babysitting, camp counseling, or nannying
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in a classroom or educational setting
  • Knowledge of various methodologies in Early Childhood Education and child development

About Our Program

Gan Ami Early Childhood Education caters to families with children aged 6 weeks through K4 across two distinct locations. Our program is recognized as a Youngstar 5-star provider by the State of Wisconsin and has achieved national accreditation from the Association for Early Learning Leaders' National Accreditation Commission (NAC).

Gan Ami operates under the auspices of the Harry & Rose Samson Family JCC, a non-profit organization grounded in Jewish values, dedicated to addressing the evolving needs of our community. With multiple facilities throughout Wisconsin, the JCC fosters an inclusive environment that promotes wellness, education, and community services for individuals from all backgrounds.
