About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Archer Daniels Midland Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs and fabrication in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks with a positive attitude and maintain a safe work record.
  • Perform mechanical repairs and troubleshooting on various equipment and machinery.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, and be available for on-call duties.
  • Collaborate with plant personnel to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual inspections and report any issues or concerns.
  • Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge in various areas, including equipment operation and maintenance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in maintenance or a related field; knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment operation.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles.
Working Conditions

  • Exposure to dust, odors, and other environmental factors.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, including hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toed shoes.
