Customer Service Specialist

CRST International is actively seeking dedicated individuals to enhance our customer service team. We are committed to delivering exceptional service and ensuring that our clients receive the support they need.

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation: Starting at $15.50/hour

Role Summary: As a vital member of the Specialized Solutions division, you will be the primary point of contact for our agents, logistics centers, and customers. Your role will involve managing inquiries and ensuring that all service-related issues are addressed promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and trace shipments for agents and customers.
  • Investigate and resolve service-related challenges by collaborating with planners, drivers, and logistics centers.
  • Assist in registering free astrays as necessary.
  • Manage shipment registrations for non-online agents.
  • Provide updates and maintenance for our systems as required.
  • Respond to general inquiries regarding missing items and claims.
  • Offer estimated dates for truckload shipments and specialty fleets.
  • Document all actions in the V601 system.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in customer service is essential.
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required; a degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
