We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading system-level design, development, and testing for UTVs. This role requires a solid understanding of mechanics, strength of materials, and knowledge in various manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design cost-effective, innovative manufactured products using sketches, presentations, and advanced Solid Modeling.
  • Perform evaluations and calculations, including stress analysis, performance analysis, product quality, durability, and acceptability to industry and company standards.
  • Build and direct efforts on fabrication of prototype products, including ability to fabricate, weld, test, and evaluate products.
  • Coordinate transition to manufacturing and product launch through management of production-ready deliverables.
  • Advise, direct, and train less senior staff as required.
  • Prepare technical data, including qualification test procedures, acceptance test procedures, reports, and component maintenance personnel.
  • Perform liaison function between engineering and manufacturing operations for related issues, problems, or improvements.
Requirements:
  • BS ME/MET EE/EET engineering degree.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience.
  • Specific experience in Electric Vehicles, vehicle electrical wire harness, and components.
  • Powersport/Automotive experience preferred.
