We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at St. Mark's Hospital. As a Float Pool Resource Nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized patient care plans through assessment and planning
- Support the Float Pool to fill in for ill calls and times of high census or to cover for LOA's
- Float to all nursing units where competencies have been completed
- Evaluate and document each patient's response to medication, interventions, and procedures
- Formulate and coordinate individualized patient's plan of care based on assessment of patient's needs
- Maintain patient safety during all aspects of nursing intervention and documents safety measures in patient's medical record
- Provide care for the patient in collaboration with the patient/family, with regard to developmental, cultural and age specific differences
- Associate Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred
- Any other certification/training required by the department in which employee is floating
- Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- At least one-year medical/surgical acute care hospital experience required
