Job Title: Technology and Entertainment Systems Specialist

Villatel is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Technology and Entertainment Systems Specialist to manage the day-to-day maintenance, upkeep, and inspection of our diverse technology and entertainment products.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and upkeep of all technology and entertainment systems across our communities, including arcade games, smart home technologies, and other amenities.
  • Install, maintain, and repair mechanical and circuitry components for all entertainment and arcade systems.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of all entertainment amenities. Procure replacements and new items such as Wi-Fi systems, arcade games, and smart home technologies.
  • Handle part orders and acquisition for items outside of warranty coverage.
  • Implement and manage preventative maintenance measures for all arcade and technology amenities.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure safety and functionality of all equipment.
  • Develop and maintain safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all entertainment offerings.
  • Manage and track warranties for all technology and entertainment amenities, including parts, full replacements, and warranty request statuses.
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with current and new vendors.
  • Collaborate with dispatch to address outstanding items from previous days and effectively manage the current day's work orders.
  • Schedule and prioritize daily work order tasks efficiently.
  • Document all completed repairs and service orders in the work order/ticket system, including detailed descriptions and photographs.
  • Report any missing or damaged items in homes immediately, following established protocols.
  • Provide tech support to internal team members, including phone setup, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and printer issues.
  • Communicate any guest issues or feedback to the management team to ensure timely and appropriate actions.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements.
  • Research and provide recommendations to the management team for potential upgrades and improvements.
  • Adhere to and ensure compliance with all security procedures.
  • Be prepared to work extra shifts or hours as needed and assist in other departments as required.
  • Routine travel throughout the Greater Orlando area is required to manage and service various locations.
Qualifications
  • Three plus years of experience supporting an internal team with IT helpdesk issues and/or arcade amenities support and maintenance. Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Technically agile, able to quickly understand and learn new platforms and tools.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational and writing skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines and multiple requests effectively.
  • Personable, respectful, and enjoyable to work with; able to engage effectively with others.
  • Level-headed and able to remain calm during maintenance emergencies.
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends and cover overnight on-call shifts as needed.
  • Ability to frequently carry heavy equipment and supplies of more than 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, crouching, walking, standing, and kneeling.
