Position Summary

We are in search of a driven and talented individual to play a pivotal role in enhancing our suite of analytics products. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of writing prowess and analytical acumen, coupled with a keen interest in the dynamics of global energy markets. This role entails close collaboration with analysts and researchers to craft, refine, and disseminate insightful reports and commentaries for a diverse readership worldwide. Given the rapid evolution of trade flows and the energy landscape, the candidate must be adaptable and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit, compose, and publish insightful commentaries and comprehensive research reports grounded in rigorous analysis conducted by Rystad Energy analysts.
  • Focus particularly on commentaries and reports pertaining to the North American energy sector.
  • Engage in the analysis of Rystad Energy data to establish a solid factual foundation for reports and commentaries.
  • Support editorial initiatives to ensure consistent, accurate, and professional communication that aligns with Rystad Energy's brand values across all analytics offerings.
  • Contribute to the timely production and release of analytics products in collaboration with product managers.
  • Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of Rystad Energy's client portal, where all analytics products are published and archived.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent university qualification.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in editing and writing within media or industry contexts.
  • Exceptional English writing skills with the ability to authoritatively discuss market trends, finance, and technology.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and a solid understanding of the energy sector, encompassing oil, gas, renewables, and power.
  • A collaborative spirit, thriving in a fast-paced team environment.
  • A talent for simplifying complex market and industry concepts for a sophisticated audience.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and proactive in approach.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
