Employment Type: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Work Schedule: Day Shifts

Compensation: $54.28 per hour, commensurate with relevant experience

Position Summary:
Responsible for assessing and addressing the therapy requirements of diverse patient groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducts and records initial and ongoing evaluations of patients' conditions.
  • Develops a tailored care plan that addresses identified issues and engages the patient and their family based on their abilities and preferences. Provides education to patients and their families/caregivers regarding identified deficits.
  • Facilitates and/or assists with the discharge process from therapy services and treatment environments. Offers guidance on the appropriate selection and use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
  • Oversees and delegates tasks to certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians in accordance with established licensing laws, state regulations, and professional standards.
  • Requires critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to operate with minimal supervision. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and respond appropriately to various situations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current licensure with the appropriate regulatory body to practice Occupational Therapy.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through a recognized organization, valid prior to the start date.
