About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically related disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a continuum of services to patients, including mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy, and neuromuscular reeducation.
  • Utilize the rehabilitation process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of patients.
  • Assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.
Requirements
  • Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient, or inpatient rehab unit settings.
  • Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required.
  • Current Colorado state licensure in occupational therapy upon hire or within 3 months required.
Physical Requirements

Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly).

Work Schedule

This inpatient role will cover the hours of 7:00am - 5:30pm (there may be some flexibility depending on the department's needs). We do have a holiday requirement for this role. We rotate coverage, so you can expect to cover every other holiday.
