Job Description

This role involves performing physical examinations and establishing medical histories to determine donor suitability. You will build rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction, while ensuring donor and staff confidentiality. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Providing donor education regarding general health and counseling regarding unacceptable test results
  • Evaluating and managing donor injuries and adverse events
  • Assisting in employee training
  • Administering employee Hepatitis Vaccine program

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocation Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT. Current CPR/BLS certification is required. Additionally, bilingual English/Spanish language proficiency is necessary.
