Job Overview
As a Security Operations Supervisor at DK Security, you will oversee and guide a team of approximately 5-6 assigned Uniform Security Officers, ensuring effective coverage around the clock. This role combines hands-on responsibilities with supervisory duties, as you will also perform the tasks of an Officer while leading your team.Key Responsibilities:
- Access Management: Ensure that only authorized personnel enter the premises unaccompanied.
- Surveillance Monitoring: Continuously observe CCTV feeds to identify any safety or security issues.
- Officer Development: Provide training and mentorship to security officers regarding their roles and responsibilities.
- Shift Coordination: Organize officer schedules to maintain 24/7 site coverage and ensure all shifts are adequately staffed.
- Emergency Response: Maintain communication with team members and on-call officers to address any staffing shortages, stepping in as necessary.
- 1st Shift: 8AM-4PM / Monday-Friday
- Full-Time Position (40+ hours per week)
- On-Call 24/7 - Available to assist Officers with inquiries or staffing issues
- Hourly Rate: $18.50 (subject to future adjustments based on contract terms)
- Benefits: Eligibility for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, group accident coverage, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity, identity theft protection, paid time off, and 401K retirement plan.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- No felony convictions; must pass a criminal background check in compliance with applicable laws.
- Successful completion of a drug test is required at the time of hire and randomly thereafter.
- Must present a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification is necessary.
- A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record is required for driving-related duties.
- Physical capabilities: Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods, including navigating stairs and lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Note: Internal candidates with active disciplinary actions in their personnel files will not be considered for this position.
