RPh on the Go is seeking a dedicated and skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience, ideally with a background in home infusion or clinical settings.
Work ScheduleStandard hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare sterile medications, including cytotoxic agents, in single doses.
- Compound sterile products following aseptic techniques and according to prescriber directives.
- Conduct quality assurance activities and maintain quality control records to document proper sterile compounding practices.
- Manage inventory effectively.
- Experience in home infusion pharmacy and clinical pharmacy is preferred.
- Proficiency in sterile compounding.
- Possession of an Iowa pharmacy technician license.
- At least one year of relevant experience.
- PTCB Certification is required.
