Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in Connecticut.
  • BSN Required, MSN preferred.
  • 3-5 years recent clinical experience in an acute care setting.
  • Formal teaching or comparable experience required.
  • Maintains appropriate job-related membership in professional organization.
  • Manages time effectively by meeting deadlines for completion of work projects, being prompt to appointments and commitments, assisting others when time is available.
  • National certification in appropriate related specialty could be in-progress.
  • AHA Instructor status in one discipline - ACLS, BLS or PALS.
