  • Compensation: $19/hr
  • Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension or conversion)

Key Responsibilities:


• Uphold and embody the company’s vision and values.


• Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality.


• Receive and log samples for analysis, entering all relevant details regarding testing, reporting, and billing into the computer system in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).


• Accurately manage and distribute samples for testing purposes.


• Familiarize oneself with and adhere to Quality System documents pertinent to job responsibilities, including the Quality Manual and Standard Operating Policies and Procedures (SOPPs).


• Follow client instructions meticulously when handling samples.


• Utilize standard office equipment, including computers and copiers, effectively.


• Collaborate with technical staff to ensure client expectations are met regarding testing, reporting, and invoicing.


• Prepare daily reports for sample schedules, shipping lists for samples dispatched to other laboratory locations, and any other necessary documentation.


• Organize samples for analysis and ensure proper delivery to other laboratory sites, maintaining accurate records of samples sent.


• Keep thorough and precise records.


• Maintain files of information associated with received samples.


• Ensure a clean and safe working environment.


• Foster cooperative working relationships with colleagues.


• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with team members.


• Demonstrate proficient typing skills, with a focus on accuracy and speed.


• Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner.


• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma required; an Associate's degree in a scientific field is preferred.

Typing speed of 45 words per minute.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Excellent communication abilities.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Willingness to work overtime as needed.
