About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist to join our team at Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations, Inc. This is a part-time opportunity that will involve providing exceptional security services to clients in various settings, including residential areas and events.

Job Summary

The Security Specialist will be responsible for performing a range of assignments, including concierge-level security, response services, basic driving, and investigations. Essential functions include representing the company's core values, providing top-notch security services, and conducting quality investigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Concierge-level security services: Provide clients with high-end security services at company locations and/or events, de-escalating tense situations as needed.
  • Response services: Conduct emergency response, crisis planning, high-risk terminations, workforce disruptions, natural disasters, civil unrest, and threat monitoring.
  • Driving and transportation: Transport clients to and from company locations and/or events.
  • Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations and complete detailed reports on incidents, occurrences, or variances that warrant documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • 3 years of experience in law enforcement, military, or security.
  • Armed security license, CCW, and CPR/First Aid certifications.
  • Strong problem-resolution skills and ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills, computer knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Working Conditions

This position requires:

  • Regular computer usage and occasional reaching and lifting of small objects.
  • Exposure to sensitive and confidential information, stressful situations, and emergency scenarios.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, with occasional climbing stairs and uneven terrain.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We offer competitive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for career growth and development.
