We are seeking a Full-time Food and Beverage Operations Manager. Weekend and holiday availability is essential.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Oversee and mentor the Food and Beverage service team to ensure satisfaction for residents and guests. Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director to promote the dining facilities at Beaumont. Work alongside the Director to establish efficient operations and a well-trained staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruit, interview, hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and develop Food and Beverage service staff in accordance with established Beaumont protocols. Manage orientation for new employees in the Food and Beverage department. Conduct pre-service meetings with all service staff to ensure seamless service, attention to detail, and address any inquiries. Guarantee that all residents, staff, and guests receive courteous, prompt, and professional service. Review and authorize bi-weekly payroll submissions to the accounting department. Monitor and track time-off requests, paid time benefits, and employee attendance on a weekly basis. Implement a safety program for the Food and Beverage department, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards. Schedule a representative from the Food and Beverage team to attend the monthly Safety Committee meeting.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.

COMPETENCIES:

Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, and objectives related to food and beverage services. Strong knowledge of wines and the ability to pair wines with meals. An energetic, innovative, and creative individual with high ethical standards and a professional demeanor. Must exhibit discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
