Clinical Quality Improvement Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Quality Improvement Nurse to join our team at Intermountain Health. This role will play a critical part in supporting quality improvement initiatives through clinical expertise and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Quality Improvement Projects: Develop and implement evidence-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Analyze Clinical Data: Collect, analyze, and interpret clinical data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop Policies and Procedures: Create and implement policies and procedures to improve clinical practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide Training and Support: Train and support clinical staff on quality improvement methodologies and best practices.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards, including those set by accrediting bodies and healthcare organizations.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective quality improvement strategies.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare detailed reports on quality improvement activities, outcomes, and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution.
- Current RN License: A current RN license is required.
- Clinical Nursing Experience: Demonstrated clinical nursing experience is required.
- Quality Improvement Experience: Demonstrated experience with the application of and success with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or PDSA/IHI Model for Improvement.
- Healthcare Data Collection Background: Experience with healthcare data collection is preferred.
- Leadership Experience: Leadership experience is preferred.
- Quality Improvement Experience: Experience with quality improvement, particularly in the areas of Sepsis and ERAS, is preferred.
