Key Responsibilities- Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on packaging machinery and equipment to ensure peak efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair issues with packaging equipment promptly to minimize downtime.
- Ensure that packaging machines are calibrated correctly to maintain quality and consistency of packaging materials and products.
- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols to protect workers and prevent accidents.
- Identify and address operational issues that may arise during packaging processes to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance to track maintenance schedules and identify areas for improvement.
- Operate forklifts to load/unload materials.
- At least 1 year of previous experience operating manufacturing machinery.
- Mechanical knowledge/aptitude required.
- Team-oriented with effective communication skills.
- Able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds and stand for an 8-hour work shift.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and communication.
- Understanding of what the machine is for, how it works, and best practices.
- Able to wear required safety gear when necessary to operate machinery.
