About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Climbing Wall Instructor to join our team at Fitness Formula Clubs. As a Climbing Wall Instructor, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and promoting our climbing wall program to increase revenue and provide education to staff and members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Belaying and Instruction: Provide safe and effective belaying services to members during family hours on Saturday and Sunday, and certify members to learn how to belay.
  • Program Development: Develop and promote climbing wall programs to increase revenue and engagement.
  • Facility Promotion: Promote the climbing wall as a business within the facility, following all safety standards, rules, and policies.
Requirements
  • Climbing Experience: 1-2 years of climbing experience.
  • Certifications: Certified belayer, spotter, and/or top rope climber.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk and stand during the entire shift, climb stairs, kneel, push and pull objects, and lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
