Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Medication Aide to join our team at LCS Senior Living. As a Medication Aide, you will provide direct nursing care to residents and work closely with our Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants to ensure the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities, and promote an independent lifestyle.
  • Identify and report resident medical and behavioral changes, and develop and monitor care plans.
  • Provide daily reports to the Director of Health Services regarding community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
  • Administer medications according to physician's orders and provide nursing care in accordance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
  • Ensure preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services to residents and coordinate nursing care with other disciplines.

Requirements:

  • Current licenses and certifications in states worked.
  • Willingness to be available for emergencies, including hurricane evacuations.
  • Ability to use electronic medical records systems and administer medications according to doctor's orders.
