Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the processing workflow, including the selection and management of necessary equipment.
  • Delegate work assignments for routine cellar tasks, monitor their execution, and ensure adherence to training protocols and safety standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to cellar staff regarding all aspects of juice processing and cellar management.
  • Monitor production metrics, report findings to the area supervisor, and maintain the daily schedule and attendance records.
  • Assist in onboarding temporary staff and address personnel issues as required.
  • Support departmental scheduling and ensure the production schedule is current as work orders progress.
  • Contribute to EHS and GMP objectives by conducting monthly inspections and completing incident reports as necessary.
  • Manage high-tier wine programs by coordinating blending, filtering, and bottling processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental initiatives and company projects.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cellar or production environments preferred.
  • Experience in supervisory roles is advantageous.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and equipment issues.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Willingness to learn new skills focused on leadership and core values.
  • Valid driver's license and a responsible driving history are required.
  • Ability to comply with safety guidelines for facility hygiene.
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Capacity to work extended hours during busy periods.
  • Proficient in reading and writing in English.
  • History of responsible conduct regarding alcohol use.

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this position is $30.70, commensurate with relevant experience.
