Cellar Associate III Job Summary

Ste. Michelle Wine Estates is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cellar Associate III to join our team in Paterson, WA. As a Cellar Associate III, you will be responsible for assisting operators in setting up equipment and monitoring wine fermentation, pumping product to tanks and barrels, and performing various duties related to the completion of work orders, safety checks, and wine processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist operators in setting up equipment and monitoring wine fermentation, pumping product to tanks and barrels, and performing various duties related to the completion of work orders, safety checks, and wine processes.
  • Notify lead of any inventory shortages and assist in month-end inventory.
  • Operate Forklift, Shovel Pumice, and maintain a positive relationship encouraging strong communication and teamwork.
  • Perform light mechanical duties, work in cold environments, and work on concrete floors for long periods of time.
  • Work with hazardous chemicals and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in our production facilities.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years old.
  • 3-5 years of experience in wine processing or a related industry.
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented, able to balance multiple demands and competing priorities.
  • Must be a self-motivated and a team player.
  • Must be comfortable working at various heights and in tight spaces.
  • Experience with forklift and scissor lift.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be able to work extended hours during harvest time.
  • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.

Compensation and Benefits:

$19.50 - $23.67 based on relevant experience. At Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, we believe in paying our employees equal pay for equal work. Individual offers are made dependent upon a candidate's prior experience and education level as it pertains to the role.
