Key Responsibilities

The selected architect will play a crucial role in establishing secure configurations for our cloud infrastructure (AWS) and will provide technical assistance to the vulnerability management team. The ideal candidate should have experience in technical documentation and will be tasked with developing and maintaining our security framework, which encompasses various standards such as CIS, ISO, and SOC2.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Creating and sustaining secure baseline configurations for AWS cloud environments.
  • Offering technical support to the vulnerability management team to ensure effective security protocols are implemented.
  • Collaborating with various business units and the vulnerability team to securely integrate new applications.
  • Participating in discussions to enhance and refine the structure of baselining processes.
  • Transitioning on-premises configurations to cloud environments to ensure comprehensive security coverage.
  • Documenting and maintaining baselines in code and Confluence for recertification purposes.
  • Updating and enhancing security codes as necessary.
  • Working closely with the Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) team to ensure compliance and security across the platform.
  • Cooperating with other architects to ensure effective implementation of security measures throughout the development pipeline and runtime.
  • Establishing and determining minimum security requirements for production environments.

Qualifications

8+ years of relevant industry experience.

  • Proven experience with AWS and developing secure cloud configurations.
  • Strong technical writing skills, particularly in documenting security configurations and procedures.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and SOC2.
  • Experience with Tripwire and Windows Server 2016.
  • Knowledge of Center for Internet Security (CIS) benchmarks.
  • Experience using Confluence for documentation purposes.
  • Preferred experience with Wiz and other CSPM tools.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high security standards.
