Job Title: Dishwasher - Upscale Dining

At Riviera Dining Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at our upscale dining restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dish area, ensuring that all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.

Responsibilities:
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure that all items are cleaned according to established protocols and procedures.
  • Properly sort and store clean dishes and utensils to prevent cross-contamination and maintain efficiency.
  • Assist in the removal of trash and recycling as needed, promoting a clean and sustainable work environment.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Supervisor, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing downtime.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth and efficient operation, supporting the success of our restaurant.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in communicating effectively in both English and Spanish.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing between 40-50 lbs.
  • Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, ensuring a high level of quality in all aspects of the job.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to follow instructions and take directions, working collaboratively with the kitchen team.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
