Dialysis Clinic Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dialysis Clinic Registered Nurse to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care. As a Dialysis RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and advancing your career through our Nephrology Nurse Advancement Program (NNAP).
About the Role:
As a Dialysis Clinic Registered Nurse, you will be part of a close-knit team responsible for delivering unique care plans and providing dialysis treatment to patients facing end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease. You will build strong bonds and lasting relationships with patients, families, and fellow care team members. Your role will involve coordinating patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, as well as delegating tasks to direct patient care staff. You will also administer medications, document patient information, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree in nursing, current state licensure, and CPR BLS certification. You will also need to meet the practice requirements in the state where you are employed. Experience as a Registered Nurse, particularly in chronic or acute hemodialysis, is preferred but not required. You will need to pass the Ishihara Color Blind Test and be able to lift, move, and assist patients with ambulation.
Working Conditions:
The physical demands and work environment characteristics of this role include heavy lifting, standing, and bending, as well as exposure to infectious and contagious diseases. You will work in a health care facility with moderate noise levels and air temperature control. You may be required to travel to training sites or other facilities.
