Rogue ABA is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and families, focusing on empowering them through choice and assent-based treatment approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), ensuring a focus on positive behavior support and skill acquisition.
  • Collaborate with families to promote understanding and active participation in their child's treatment. Encourage families to express their preferences and choices regarding interventions.
  • Provide training and resources to families, equipping them with strategies to support their child's development at home and in community settings.
  • Accurately collect and record data on each child's progress toward their goals, ensuring that this information is used to make informed decisions about treatment adjustments.
  • Work closely with other team members, including BCBAs, educators, and therapists, to create a cohesive approach to treatment that reflects the family's values and goals.
Qualifications:
  • Certification: Current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children with behavioral challenges, preferably in a clinical or educational setting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate families.
  • Empathy and Patience: Strong ability to connect with children and families, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions.
