Job Description:
General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Process Integration Analyst to support the Department of Veterans Affairs Enterprise Service Desk.
In this role, you will leverage your analytical and communication abilities to integrate new systems and processes within the VA Enterprise Service Desk.
This position offers the chance to enhance your communication skills through both written and verbal interactions with internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels.
As a Process Integration Functional Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Data Collection, Documentation, and Analysis:
Conduct Discovery Calls to gather insights for new Process Integration initiatives.
Develop VISIO process diagrams for the desired future state, collaborating with VA personnel, the Process Integration team, Subject Matter Experts, and the Knowledge/Training/Operation Management teams to ensure a smooth transition to the Service Desk.
Collect and analyze data regarding process performance, identifying trends, bottlenecks, and areas for enhancement.
Create and maintain a risk register to track and prioritize identified risks. - Collaboration and Coordination:
Maintain a Virtual Task Board to ensure precise tracking of Process Integration efforts.
Interface and collaborate with VA personnel and other vendors to ensure seamless operations and data flow across various departments or functions within the organization.
Work with other departments, including IT, operations, and management, to align process enhancements and integrations with overall business objectives.
Coordinate testing and validation of process modifications and system integrations to ensure they meet business requirements, potentially involving simulations or pilot programs.
Collaborate with other departments to manage risk-related issues.
Coordinate Operational Readiness Reviews to ensure that process modifications and system integrations function as intended.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
2 or more years of relevant experience
Must be able to obtain the ITIL v4 certification within 6 months of hire
1 year or more of experience on the VA Service Desk
Familiarity with VA Service Desk Processes
Must be able to obtain and maintain public trust clearance
Preferred: Experience in Visio is desirable but not mandatory
Experience in risk management is desirable but not mandatory
The likely salary range for this position is $47,320 - $87,859.
This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Salary will be determined based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
