Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with various departments to enhance housekeeping strategies.
2. Oversee Housekeeping and Porter teams to guarantee that guest accommodations and public areas are maintained to the highest standards.
3. Ensure that operational procedures align with all applicable state and federal regulations.
4. Manage inventory for all guest and housekeeping supplies.
5. Supervise laundry operations, ensuring all necessary materials are available for housekeeping staff.
6. Maintain the housekeeping budget effectively.
7. Facilitate consistent implementation of departmental training and performance evaluation programs.
8. Work alongside the Hotel Manager to formulate action plans addressing any areas of concern.
9. Communicate special housekeeping services and requests for special occasions.
10. Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms for preventative maintenance and necessary repairs, ensuring compliance with company standards.
11. Relay repair and maintenance requirements to the engineering team and follow up to confirm service completion.
12. Monitor laundry production closely to sustain workflow efficiency.
13. Inspect public areas and guide porter staff throughout the day to ensure cleaning adheres to established checklists.
14. Supervise and assist with luggage handling in accordance with TSA regulations.
15. Coordinate laundry services onshore.
16. Ensure the capability for uniform repairs (maintaining some inventory) to guarantee all staff are properly attired in well-maintained uniforms.
17. Manage chemical and supply orders, ensuring proper usage and compliance.
18. Maintain the MSDS documentation.
19. Prepare housekeeping recommendations for annual budget planning and capital expenditures.
20. Keep accurate inventories and provide monthly reports in a timely manner.

Make hospitality standards a priority in daily operations. Participate in and ensure compliance with all USCG mandated drills and emergency procedures as required. Perform additional duties as necessary, as the above responsibilities represent a typical working day and may not encompass every task required to achieve operational success.
