Job Opportunity: Rendering Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Rendering Engineer to join our team at Rec Room. As a key member of our Rendering team, you will collaborate with our Art and User Generated Content teams to develop innovative 3D rendering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient graphics features and infrastructure
  • Work closely with engineers and artists to solve complex technical problems
  • Diagnose and resolve runtime issues and performance bottlenecks
  • Provide expert feedback on content implementation best practices
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of professional games development experience
  • Proficiency in C# and/or C++
  • Experience with Unity, Unreal, or similar game engines
  • Strong understanding of 3D math and modern graphics hardware
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Broad cross-disciplinary work experience
  • Proficiency in debugging, profiling, and optimizing CPU and GPU
  • Understanding of content authoring, implementation, and optimization best practices
  • Experience with virtual reality technologies
  • Experience with mobile platforms or consoles
