Job SummaryWe are seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional to join our team at a correctional facility in Georgia. The successful candidate will provide mental health case management services to patients and consult with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health care.
Responsibilities- Conduct intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and provide individual and group therapy
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health care
- Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the unique needs of patients
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance mental health services
- Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution
- Eligible for mental health professional license in Georgia
- Active mental health professional license in Georgia preferred: LCSW, LMFT, LMSW, LPC or LAPC
- Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification
- Minimum of two years experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug test
