Job Summary:

Abacus Service Corporation is seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master 3 to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for monitoring scrum processes and meetings, increasing team efficiency, and motivating team members to ensure quality and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and facilitate scrum processes and meetings
  • Increase team efficiency and productivity
  • Motivate team members to ensure quality and timeliness
  • Ensure observance of DoD (Definition of done)
  • Facilitate and/or coordinate scrum events as needed
  • Utilize communication, technical, and organizational skills to remove impediments and enhance collaboration
  • Ensure that the team delivers value to the customer

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum methodology practices
  • 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team involving cross-team dependencies
  • 8+ years of experience managing backlog using Jira
  • 4+ years of experience as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master

Working Conditions:

The primary work location will be at Abacus Service Corporation's office. The position will be remote, and the candidate must already reside in Texas. Any and all travel, per diem, parking, and/or living expenses shall be at the worker's and/or Vendor's expense.

Interviews:

Interviews will be conducted via phone, in-person, or through Microsoft Teams.
