POSITION OVERVIEW:

Fincantieri Marinette Marine is in search of experienced Navy Combat System professionals to join our team in support of the Constellation Class Frigate Program.

We are looking for dedicated individuals to deliver technical and engineering expertise for the planning, execution, and post-event evaluation of AEGIS Test and Evaluation (T&E) activities throughout the construction, testing, and trials phases of the FFG program.


Key Responsibilities:

The essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating closely with the Navy AEGIS Test Team (ATT), SSBA, Lockheed Martin SI&T, and other testing entities to formulate and execute plans that align with all FFG milestones for the ships' Combat Systems and associated equipment.
  • Contributing to the creation of the ships' testing strategy and driving production and trials timelines for LCS, MMSC, and FFG programs as assigned.
  • Providing subject matter expertise to Engineering in the development and design of the C4I/Combat Systems onboard FFG.
  • Assisting in the formulation and execution of test plans to fulfill EMP/HEMP requirements onboard FFG.
  • Overseeing the testing, identification of issues, repairs, and re-testing of all topside penetrations to ensure compliance with Build Specification requirements on LCS, MMSC, and FFG.
  • Delivering technical support for AEGIS Weapon System (AWS) Interface validation, shipboard integration, waterfront integration tests, analytical services, and assessments both in-port and at-sea.
  • Providing engineering services to support tactical and operational interoperability during test and evaluation events aboard AEGIS FFGs.
  • Conducting test and evaluation data analysis and training necessary to support Combat System Interoperability for T&E events.
  • Offering technical assistance to System Engineering initiatives and relevant installation support for Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE) on AEGIS Frigates.
  • Engaging with internal stakeholders and external agencies such as NAVAIR, SWIT, IWS 1, Aegis Test Team, BUMED, PEO IWS, NIWC, SSBA, NSWC DD, FAA, and PMS-515.
  • Identifying, tracking, communicating, and coordinating issues and deficiencies while developing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinating Test and Trials planning and execution with the shipyard and other involved parties for each vessel.
  • Acting as a liaison with the Navy test community and Government Contractors conducting SOVTs and installations onboard FFG.
  • Providing input for out briefs and communications with both internal and external stakeholders.
