ASME Certified Inspector

Job Summary:

Orion Talent is seeking an experienced Authorized Inspector to join our team. As an Authorized Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections of boilers and pressure vessels to ensure compliance with ASME codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection and Testing: Conduct on-site inspections of boilers and pressure vessels to verify compliance with ASME codes and standards.
• Quality Control: Review fabrication drawings, manufacturing standards, and witness testing to ensure quality control systems are in place.
• Documentation and Reporting: Document and monitor the quality control system through ASME review and verification process.
• Compliance and Certification: Ensure compliance with applicable sections of the ASME Code, National Board Inspection Code, and jurisdictional requirements for fabrication and repair/alteration activities and authorized inspection services.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (military) work experience or a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Experience: 3-5 years of mechanical experience in the boiler and pressure vessel industry, including design, fabrication, operation, repair, alteration, inspection, and nondestructive examination, or quality control systems.

Travel Requirements:

You will have one full-time shop to support in Marinette, Wisconsin. No vaccine requirements.
