Job Summary

The Behavioral Therapist Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality behavioral therapy services to our students, including assessment, intervention, and support. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

* Provide individualized behavioral therapy services to students, including developing and implementing treatment plans and conducting progress monitoring and reporting.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for students.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues, with a focus on building trust and promoting open communication.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in behavioral therapy and related fields.
* Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and treatment plans, as well as participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance services and outcomes.

Requirements

* Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, education, social work) and certification in behavioral therapy (e.g., BCBA, LPCC)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse individuals and groups
* Experience working with children and adolescents, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder or emotional disturbances
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
* Familiarity with trauma-focused CBT and ABA principles and practices
