The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating tasks related to the setup, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues linked to machinery, specifically industrial ovens. The goal is to prevent potential operational or service disruptions.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the installation of new or modified equipment at client locations, ensuring compliance with operational specifications.
  • Collaborate in the configuration of test units or systems, connecting essential components such as valves, pumps, hydraulic, mechanical, or electrical controls, wiring, tubes, power sources, and indicators.
  • Adjust controls to apply electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical power for equipment testing.
  • Review performance reports from clients and field representatives, and assess malfunctioning equipment to determine the nature and extent of issues.
  • Perform repairs on units that do not meet established specifications.
  • Investigate findings to identify root causes of problems and recommend repair, replacement, or other corrective measures.
  • Work closely with engineering and customer service teams to expedite repairs.
  • Provide on-site technical assistance, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain performance documentation.
  • Analyze technical challenges to identify trends that may impact future designs, production, service, and maintenance processes, suggesting modifications to avert future issues.
  • Act as the communication link between clients and our organization, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service.
  • Develop and conduct operational safety training for equipment, demonstrating skills to trainees, including team members and clients.
  • Recommend adjustments to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimal quality within the constraints of equipment capabilities.
  • Prepare corrective action reports and communicate issues to management for assessment.


Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical institution.
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in a related field or a combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and plumbing diagrams, with proficiency in troubleshooting using multi-meters and amp probes.
  • Familiarity with programming and adjusting PLCs and VFDs.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally.
  • Strong mathematical skills and proficiency in basic arithmetic and geometry.
