Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Carpet One Floor & Home Tallahassee. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including receiving, processing, and storing inventory according to purchase orders and store policy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement warehouse procedures to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management
  • Receive and process shipments, including entering product information into our inventory management system
  • Alert sales staff and office personnel when products are received
  • Prepare products for installation and assist with loading up installers with items to be sent out to customer jobs
  • Conduct physical counts of product inventory to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain a safe and neat work environment
  • Assist with assembly and discarding of samples and displays
Requirements
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
