Key Responsibilities:
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat
  • Organize work areas for orderliness and perform routine light maintenance on equipment
  • Repair and maintain heavy equipment, using test and diagnostic equipment to make adjustments as needed
  • Measure and identify parts and components for reusability or replacement, ordering new parts as required
  • Perform minor welding, fabrication, plumbing, and alignment tasks
  • Willingness to help out in other areas of the shop based on workload
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years of previous experience preferred
  • Good communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift and overhead crane
  • General mechanical knowledge
