Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic to join our team at Bejac Corporation. As a Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing heavy construction equipment in our shop or at customer job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and repair heavy construction equipment in our shop or at customer job sites
- Complete jobs at or under manufacturer published flat rate repair times
- Plan and complete route maintenance services without supervision
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
- Work under pressure independently and as a team player
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience maintaining/servicing heavy equipment
- Equipment dealership background ideal
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted
- Welding experience
- Hydraulic & electrical experience
- Mid-level diagnostic ability
- Ability to do repairs such as welding, R & R of major components such as axles, engines, and transmissions
- Ability to perform repairs on components and attachments such as hammers and shears
- Engine certifications a plus
- Ability to understand instructions, written and verbal
- Possess a clean and valid Class B driver's license, recent K4 printout required
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical

A DMV record and valid Driver's license will be required for all persons driving a Company vehicle, operating equipment, or driving their personal vehicle for Company business.
