Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Scheduling:
Utilize data-driven insights to optimize daily schedules, considering fleet, driver, warehouse, store, and labor needs, ensuring seamless delivery operations across 166 stores in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Efficiency Champion:
Make informed decisions that align with our operational goals, driving productivity and cost-effectiveness, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Driver Development:
Coach and mentor drivers, promoting a safe, high-performance culture, and providing opportunities for growth and development.

Collaborative Problem-Solving:
Partner with internal and external sources, addressing requests and challenges with exceptional customer service, and leveraging technology to optimize operations and improve communication.

Lead Innovatively:
Make strategic, resource-efficient decisions, inspiring your team to excel, and driving innovation in logistics and transportation.

Continuous Improvement:
Analyze performance data, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency, and implementing data-driven solutions to drive business growth.

Emergency Response:
Adapt quickly to unexpected situations, such as weather events or traffic disruptions, to ensure deliveries remain on track, and prioritize the safety and well-being of our customers and employees.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree Preferred:
While a degree is a plus, relevant experience in transportation or logistics is highly valued, and a strong understanding of DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Regulations is essential.

Decision-Making Expertise:
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and making quick, informed decisions, and prioritize the safety and well-being of our customers and employees.

Local Expertise:
Strongly comprehend the MD/DC/VA geographic map, and have a deep understanding of the region's logistics and transportation landscape.

Tech Savvy:
