Risk Management Specialist

At The Gray Insurance Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Representative to join our team. As a Loss Prevention Representative, you will play a critical role in helping our policyholders prevent losses and manage risks.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist Policyholders: Provide loss prevention and control services to our policyholders, helping them to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Risk Management: Assist in managing risk related to workers' compensation, auto liability, and general liability classes of coverage.
- Safety and Health: Identify, evaluate, and eliminate or mitigate exposure to safety and health hazards.
- Surveys and Assessments: Conduct periodic safety and health risk surveys of offices, shops, facilities, premises, projects, and automotive fleets.
- Education and Training: Provide safety and health education and training to policyholders.
- Consultations: Offer safety and health consultations, including safety and health plan review and assistance.
- Loss Analysis: Conduct loss analysis of major classes of coverage and make recommendations to improve safety performance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date on changing laws and regulations and ensure compliance.
- Annual Loss Analysis: Conduct yearly loss analysis of policyholders' incidents.
- Risk Surveys: Conduct risk surveys on job sites.
- Consultations and Plans: Provide consultations that include individualized annual insured action plans, regulatory interpretation and compliance, explanations of unacceptable, acceptable, and best industry practices, safety plan development and review, assessment of industrial hygiene and health risk, ergonomic assessment, loss control information, fleet safety management, general liability exposures and safeguards, and safety performance management.
Requirements:
- Communication Skills: Ability to greet clients and colleagues in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to work independently and identify and solve problems.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to organize and prioritize work.
