Job Summary

TalentZök is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer II to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer II, you will be responsible for participating in all phases of engineering projects, including design, testing, system integration, support, and documentation of electronics/electrical systems for semiconductor test handlers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Participate in the design, testing, and integration of electronics/electrical systems for semiconductor test handlers.
  • Support and Documentation: Provide technical support and documentation for electronics/electrical systems, including technical requirements, design verification tests, testing procedures, and technical documentation.
  • ECO and BOM Generation: Generate ECOs (Engineering Change Requests) and BOMs (Bill of Materials) as needed.
  • Research and Development: Research and develop substitutions for obsolete parts.
  • Design and Troubleshooting: Participate in the design and troubleshooting of electronic boards and/or wiring.
Requirements
  • Education: B.S.E.E. with 4-6 years of experience or M.S.E.E. with 2+ years of experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience with Altium Designer, experience with drafting and revising electro-mechanical drawings in DrawSight and/or SolidWorks, and experience working on capital equipment.
  • Skills: Knowledge and hands-on experience with EtherCAT protocol and Beckhoff Twin CAT, knowledge of CoE (CANopen over EtherCAT) and Simple Slave protocols, understanding of data and programming procedures for Ether CAT slave EEPROM, and ability to do simple electronics troubleshooting with oscilloscope, power supplies, and firmware.
  • Language: Good technical English writing skills.
  • Software: Microsoft Office and ability to learn complicated PC programs quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Zuken E3: Experience with Zuken E3 is a plus, but not necessary.
  • Motor Tuning Experience: Hands-on tuning of fast PID loops is a plus.
  • Advanced Electronics Troubleshooting: Some more advanced electronics troubleshooting and certification experience is a plus.
  • Technical Standards: Ability to read and understand technical standards.
Salary Range

$95-115k/yr
