We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Manager to join our team at Whole Foods Market. Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Development: Lead and develop a team of Team Members to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
- Store Operations: Assist the Team Leader in analyzing sales, reports, and labor, and develop and maintain creative store layouts and product merchandising.
- Customer Service: Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs, and direct Team Members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers.
- Vendor Relationships: Maintain good vendor relationships, develop new vendor relations, and ensure all paperwork is properly submitted for vendor processing.
- Performance Management: Select, train, develop, mentor, motivate, and counsel Team Members in a manner that sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover.
- Experience: 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
- Skills: High energy, enthusiastic, and displays an affinity for our products, core values, and company philosophy. Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds. In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
- Environmental Factors: Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals, temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit, and ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
