Principal Microgrid Controls and Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Microgrid Controls and Automation Engineer to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our Power Delivery Services Team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing microgrid and renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop microgrid control systems and automation technologies, including SCADA systems, energy management systems, and intelligent electronic devices.
- Develop and implement power electronics and their application in renewable energy systems and microgrids, including inverters, converters, and other power electronic devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and meet customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in microgrid and renewable energy technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in microgrid and renewable energy projects, with a focus on control systems and automation technologies.
- Strong knowledge of power electronics, SCADA systems, and energy management systems.
