About the Job

RTX is seeking a highly experienced Senior Information Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Systems Directorate, you will play a crucial role in developing solutions to protect our nation's warfighters' technology advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing proper cybersecurity controls to ensure the security and integrity of our systems
  • Collaborating with customers to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness
  • Maintaining a Risk Management Framework Authorization to Operate for the system
  • Supporting the development of plans and estimates, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation plans
  • Planning and guiding SSE implementations in customer systems
  • Consulting and assisting program line management with SSE architectures and issues
  • Defining security development and test efforts, including the implementation of security controls of networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware and software components
  • Integrating cybersecurity development activities
  • Developing top-level system requirements and flowing down requirements and implementation concepts to subsystems
  • Understanding and complying with DoD technology release and export licensing policies
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • An active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Experience in Cybersecurity Engineering
  • Experience with Systems Engineering
