Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to oversee our nursing staff in delivering exceptional care to residents facing the challenges associated with memory loss.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise a team of caregivers to ensure top-notch resident care and compliance with medical standards.
- Formulate and enforce nursing policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain comprehensive resident documentation, including Individual Service Plans and Care Plans.
- Assess and monitor staff performance, providing constructive feedback and mentorship as necessary.
- Guarantee adherence to regulatory requirements in all nursing functions.
- Effectively manage the processes of resident admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Utilize an electronic health record system for precise documentation and record management.
- Offer guidance and support to residents, addressing their unique medical needs.
- Collaborate with diagnostic imaging departments to ensure timely access to necessary tests.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity within a healthcare environment.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
