Job Overview

Spirit Environmental is seeking a highly skilled ESG/GHG Project Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients in achieving their environmental goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • ESG Strategy Development: Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective ESG strategies that align with their business objectives.
  • GHG Inventory and Assurance: Conduct greenhouse gas inventories and provide assurance services to clients in accordance with industry standards.
  • Natural Gas Certification: Support clients in obtaining natural gas certification through the use of the MIQ standard.
  • Corporate ESG Reporting: Assist clients in developing and implementing ESG reporting frameworks that meet industry standards.
  • Sustainability Planning: Develop and implement sustainability plans for clients that align with their business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Public Policy, Planning, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in sustainability consulting, oil and gas operations, sustainability planning, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in MS Office suite.
