About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Geosyntec Consultants. As a key member of our civil engineering and utility client sectors, you will be responsible for managing, leading, and growing our projects related to coal combustion residuals and coastal/waterfront markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and review technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents for civil design, site development, and stormwater management.
  • Provide construction engineering support for large civil-design and landfill projects.
  • Complete construction quality assurance tasks for large civil-design and landfill projects.
  • Oversight and project management of multi-disciplinary projects and assistance in managing client programs.
  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative internal and external relationships.
  • Mentor and develop early-career engineers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in the consulting industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience performing civil design and site grading.
  • Experience performing hydrologic/hydraulic analyses and designing stormwater infrastructure.
  • Strong oral and technical writing skills.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel.
