Job Description:

As a Civil Engineer at Selectek, you will play a crucial role in designing and managing land development projects for a diverse range of clients, including corporations, higher education institutions, and government entities.

Your responsibilities will include preparing civil design and construction plans, permitting packages, cost estimates, and contract documents suitable for bidding.

You will work closely with our project teams to ensure the successful execution of projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare civil design and construction plans, including notes and details.
  • Create and submit project permitting packages, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Develop accurate construction cost estimates to support project budgeting.
  • Prepare comprehensive contract documents suitable for bidding processes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
  • Proven experience in site grading, layout, drainage, water, sewer, earthwork, and sediment control for civil site design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective project communication and client interactions.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification or in the process of obtaining it, demonstrating a commitment to professional growth and development.

Salary Range: $110,000-$120,000

Shift and Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm
