About the Role

The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is seeking a highly skilled Project Director to join our team. As a key member of the UCCS Aging Center, you will be responsible for identifying and securing funding resources, coordinating and managing these resources and associated projects, and supporting the staff and operations of the center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify funding opportunities, assemble grant proposals, and submit completed applications
  • Coordinate site visits, write thank-you letters, and submit required reporting
  • Track data and outcomes needed for reporting
  • Collaborate with the Psychology Department and Principal Investigator to track proper expenditures and allocation of grant funds
  • Work closely with the team to coordinate community outreach and project management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in philanthropic studies, fundraising, public relations, communication, marketing, or a related field
  • Four years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in philanthropic studies, fund-raising, public relations, communication, marketing, or a related field with two years of experience in multidisciplinary project management
  • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis
  • Demonstrated success in funded grant proposals
  • Experience with non-profit fund development
  • Previous work or interest in learning about the intersections of mental health and successful aging
  • Previous work in a team-oriented and collegiate environment
